What is silica dioxide Matting Agent ?

Silica Matting Agent is a white color powder which is commonly used in coating industries. Its main function is to create matte effect

by changing coating surface properties. Making the light scattering under different levels. Using silica matting agent in coating

industries already has more than 40 years.

The production methods of producing silica matting agent are classified into two ways. One is gas phase method and the other is

precipitation method. Our HF-4954 silica dioxide is processed by precipitated method due to its cost is lower and it is common used

in outdoor coating like acrylic coating. Besides, this silica matting agent is also treated with special surface treatment like wax-coated.

This type silica matting agent can not only create matte effect but also enhance coating's other properties like scratches resistance

and durability.
