SS-326 Silicon Dioxide For Plastic Paints

Using in plastic paints silicon dioxide, especially our SS-326 silicon dioxide has various excellent properties and applications.

Firstly, our SS-326 silicon dioxide can improve plastics density, smoothness and wear resistance with its high strength, high

fluidity and small size effect.Besides, SS-326 silicon dioxide can also enhance composite materials heating stability, flame retardant

properties and better mechanical properties when using the same silica contents comparing with other normal silica.

This material improves the compatibility of plastics, which greatly improves the performance of plastics in blends with other polymers.

For example, adding nano-silica to PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate) can greatly improve the notched impact strength of the material

while maintaining good optical transparency.

The application of silica in plastic coatings also includes as a Matting Agent, which evenly distributes silica particles in the paint film to

form a micro-rough surface, thereby producing a low-gloss matte and matte effect. In addition, silica is also used as an opening agent

to reduce the friction coefficient of the film and solve the adhesion problem of plastic films during manufacturing, processing and use.

Silica is widely used in plastic paints, which not only improves the mechanical properties and thermal stability of the material, but also

improves the optical properties and matte effect of the coating. These characteristics make silica an indispensable and important additive
