Silica Matting Agent a wide using material in plastic paints. The main function of silica Matting Agent is to reduce coating surface
glossy to achieve matting effect. We can summarize a few specifications and applications of silica matting agent as below.
1) Silica matting agent's specification: silica matting agent often appears as white color powder or white color particles. It is easy to
disperse and it also has good matting effect even adding small contents of silica matting agent in paints. It has little interference with
the transparency of the coating, has little effect on the mechanical and chemical properties of the coating, and has good suspension
properties in liquid coatings.
2) Silica matting agent has excellent chemical resistance and transparency, and is suitable for a variety of coatings, including water-based,
solvent-based, radiation-cured and two-component coatings. It can effectively reduce the color difference value of the coating caused by
ultraviolet and infrared light exposure, and improve the anti-aging property of exterior wall coatings.
