concentration of the ink, and improve the color saturation and gloss of the ink.

In terms of paper, the addition of nano-silica can increase the whiteness, smoothness and opacity of the paper, thereby improving

the printing quality of the paper. Silica nanoparticles penetrate into the pores of the paper fibers, making the paper more easily

wetted by the ink, thereby improving the affinity of the paper for the ink. In addition, silica can also improve the oil resistance,

abrasion resistance and gloss of the paper, while reducing the weight of the paper and preventing ink penetration.

Silica is also widely used in ink. It can not only control the fluidity of the ink and prevent pigment sedimentation, but also speed

up the drying speed of the ink and reduce the situation of dirt and blur. Fumed Silica also has good dispersibility and stability,

which can improve pigment dispersion, improve film adhesion and anti-corrosion performance.

In inkjet paper coating, the particle size and oil absorption of silica are key parameters. As the particle size increases, the resolution

of the printed image decreases, and the oil absorption has a more prominent effect on the printing effect. When the oil absorption

is less than a certain value, the drying speed is slow, the ink cannot be absorbed in time, and the problem of ink diffusion will

appear on the paper surface. Therefore, by adjusting the dispersibility and stability of silica, a better dispersion effect can be achieved,

thereby improving the quality of inkjet paper.
